Working in MD — For Medics & Specialists

The Medical Department offers demanding and rewarding opportunities for personnel focused on clinical care, emergency response, and hazard mitigation. MD teams operate around the clock to keep Site-89 functional and safe.

What You'll Do

  • Stabilize trauma patients during active emergency incidents
  • Perform routine examinations and operational fitness clearances
  • Treat anomalous exposure and contamination incidents
  • Support quarantine, decontamination, and biosecurity procedures
  • Coordinate with Security and Scientific teams during crises
  • Document patient outcomes and post-incident follow-up care

Skills & Experience

Calm decision-making, strict protocol adherence, and strong communication are essential. Incoming personnel receive training in:

  • Site emergency triage and mass-casualty response
  • Anomalous injury recognition and treatment protocols
  • Infection control, quarantine workflows, and contamination response
  • Cross-department crisis coordination and medical reporting
  • Mental health intervention and recovery monitoring

Getting Started

Medical applicants should report to Medical Command for role assignment and orientation. New staff are embedded with senior medics during initial rotations before independent duty.

The Clinical Operations Division oversees routine healthcare, diagnostics, and long-term care planning for personnel. COD ensures that frontline teams remain medically fit for duty.

Emergency Response Unit (ERU)

The Emergency Response Unit provides rapid trauma intervention during containment breaches, combat incidents, and high-risk operations. ERU teams deploy with mobile kits and coordinate evacuation corridors.

Anomalous Pathology & Exposure Unit (APEU) WIP

APEU focuses on identification, containment, and treatment of anomalous pathogens, cognitohazards, and exposure syndromes. This unit partners closely with Scientific teams on difficult cases.
