» Setting your Skin «

/setskin Command

When roleplaying on the server, you will find yourself changing skins frequently. To simplify this, we provide a mod that lets you change your skin with a URL.

» HD skins and why we use them «

The only image hosting/sharing site that is usable is Imgur through the Sekwah proxy. When uploading a skin to Imgur, make sure to copy the image URL (not the album URL) — right-click the image and choose "Copy image address".

Then, go to the Sekwah Reskin Proxy, paste the Imgur image address, and press "Modify and Copy URL." Use the resulting Sekwah URL with the /setskin command in-game.

Why HD? The server style uses the standard 64x64 layout, but some departments require higher-resolution skins (512x512 or 1024x1024). Higher resolution lets us include small, high-detail insignias and logos that aren't possible on a 64x64 skin, such as custom Security Department uniforms.

Note: HD-style features (strongly detailed eyes, etc.) that deviate from the 64x64 aesthetic may look out of place and are generally discouraged unless specifically required by a department.

To safely upscale a skin without losing detail, use an image editor that preserves clarity. We recommend Medibang Pro for this purpose (Photoshop can sometimes introduce blurring).

Steps (Using Medibang Pro)

1. Download and install Medibang Pro: https://medibangpaint.com/en/app-download/
2. Open your skin image in Medibang Pro.
3. Under the Edit menu, find Image Size.
4. Change the image size to the required resolution (128x128, 256x256, 512x512, etc.).
5. Export the skin via File → Export when finished.

After exporting, upload the image to Imgur, convert using the Sekwah Reskin Proxy, and use /setskin [sekwah url] in-game to apply it.
