Before you can play on Site-89, you need to create a character application. This is your chance to tell the community who your character is. Think of it like writing a resume for a job at the Foundation, but for a fictional character.
Your application helps the leadership team understand what kind of character you want to play and makes sure everyone's on the same page about who you'll be portraying.
When you fill out the application, you'll need to provide:
Be honest and creative in your application. Leadership wants to see genuine interest, not just copy-pasted information. Don't worry if you're not a professional writer, just write clearly and show that you care about the role.
Once you submit your application, leadership will review it. Then you'll move on to the next steps while you wait for approval. The whole process usually takes 3 hours or less, but during busy times (like holidays), it might take up to 48 hours.
Discord is where the community hangs out. It's a chat platform where you can:

Once the modpack is installed, you can click "Play" to make sure it launches. You don't need to join the server yet, just make sure it opens without errors. If it crashes, ask for help in Discord!
Your character application is being reviewed by the leadership team. They're reading through your submission and making sure everything looks good. This is totally normal and nothing to worry about.
Typical timeline: 3 hours or less
Maximum timeline: 48 hours (usually only during busy times like holidays)

If it's been more than 48 hours and you haven't heard anything:
The team hold all applications to a specific standard, if something in your application was lacking in one area, you'll recieve a notice of denial, along with what was wrong and how to improve it. This is not a bad thing, it just means that all applications are held to the same standard, and the team wants yours to meet that standard so it can be approved!
Congratulations! Your application has been approved. Now it's time to actually join the Minecraft server and create your character.
Once you join the server, you'll see instructions to create your character. This involves:
